Portrait Session in New York Home
Mercy lost her original modeling portfolio in a recent move. The purpose of this photoshoot was to replace the lost photographs. 
At this time many studios were closed due to covid so I decided to open my home to Mercy and set up a studio in my sitting and dining room.
For this session, I used one light, a painted backdrop that I created, and some fabrics. I adorned Mercys Locs with wooden beads and silver wiring. It’s been 20 years since Mercy has worked a photoshoot but as I watched Mercy move and flip her locs it was as though she never stopped.
